My Dream Trip To London

My exact future is unknown but I hope it involves a lot of traveling! I narrowed it down to my top four places I would like to travel. My dream is to go to London, Paris, New York and California.
London is the capital city of England and the United Kingdom. It is the seventh most populous region and urban zone. In my opinion two of the best things about London are Big Ben and the London eye. It’s such an old and beautiful city dating back to long before the 19th century. Another noteworthy thing about London is the food and by food I mean pastries, not escargot.
The second place I’m planning to go is Paris, France. Paris is the capital and most popular tourist spot in France. When visiting a must see thing is the Eiffel tower. When I go to both London and Paris in 2015 I am most excited to hear all the accents. The only downside of going so far away is the long plane rides. On my adventure to Europe I am going with my grandmother, my mom and my Aunt Lee and I can’t wait!

New York is the seventh most densely populated out of fifty states and there is always something interesting going on. After doing a little research I was able to figure out some of the best places to go in New York. Obviously the Statue of Liberty is a must see and definitely on my bucket list. Another place tourist usually visit is time square, especially on New Year’s Eve. Someplace not everyone thinks of is Madison Square Garden. If you’re not familiar with it, it’s basically a huge arena where amazing musicians/artists perform. Last but not least the shopping! You’ve got to love the city life when you’re out and about shopping for cute clothes.
Lastly I would love to go to California. It is the most populous U.S state. I wish I lived in Cali, Imagine being able to go to all those beautiful beaches every day. When I visit I’m going to take advantage of those waves by learning how to surf or water ski. One of the best things about California is that it is warm and sunny. Shopping on the boardwalks is a popular thing to do there. It’s been said that it’s a great place to meet new people.
I get excited just thinking about all the travel worthy places out there and I hope I get the opportunity to travel to these fascinating places. There are endless possibilities when it comes to traveling. Remember to try new things and have fun!

Power Of University of Kelaniya

University of Kelaniya  History The University of Kelaniya has its origin in the historic Vidyalankara Pirivena, founded in 1875 as a centre of learning for Buddhist monks. It was one of the two great national centres of traditional higher learning, heralding the first phase of the national movement and national resurgence. With the establishment of modern Universities in Sri Lanka in the 1940s and 1950s, the Vidyalankara Pirivena became the Vidyalankara University in 1959, later the Vidyalankara Campus of the University of Ceylon in 1972 and, ultimately, the University of Kelaniya in 1978. Today, the University of Kelaniya is one of the major national Universities. It is located just outside the municipal limits of Colombo, in the ancient and historic city of Kelaniya, on the north bank of the Kelani River. It has two major campuses, seven locations, six faculties and four institutions. The University of Kelaniya has pioneered a number of new developments in Higher...

What's PPD ?

The Parable of the Pebbles One night in ancient times, three horsemen were riding across a desert. As they crossed the dry bed of a river, out of the darkness a voice called, “Halt!” They obeyed. The voice then told them to dismount, to pick up handfuls of pebbles, put the pebbles in their pockets, and remount. The horsemen followed the instruction. The voice then said, “If you have done as I commanded, tomorrow at sunup you will be both glad and sorry.” The horsemen rode on. When the sun rose, they reached into their pockets and found that a miracle had happened. The pebbles had been transformed into diamonds and other precious stones. The horsemen remembered the warning that they would be both glad and sorry. They were glad they had taken some pebbles, sorry they had not taken more.
