The Expert Game

The game was designed and the lecture asked us to select three expertise from each group as she had divided us into. Then those expertise had to explain his fellow group members about his/her expert area. There was the chance to question the expert about his/her field· All right, in my group we had three expertise   They were experts in

What an amazingly different areas... The real game was at the later part of the whole activity. To make one outcome of those areas.  Yeah, you have experts in those areas right? Actually we did it. I couldn't believe that we can do it until we come up with our service. Actually it was a kind of business planShortly called - F.P.S  (Football power suite)??? Our main objective was to deliver suite to the international football matches! But it is not an easy to have such a contract. So we decided to make a plan to achieve that target.

First, we would have some shows of bike stunts. Normally they attract a huge number of people. So we can find money by asking them to buy tickets for the show. And, with that money we would open few stalls and earn some money with it. Any way we have now two ways of income. Then we would go for another, owning a theatre. So we can show live cricket matches when there is one. And when not, films. By the time, we would have our reputation. Then we would go for our main objective, to supply suite to international football matches.

This activity remembered us that there is nothing non-matching, inter-related field (area) in the world. Everything you see, depends on your mind set.  And if you find there is no way to do, remember that there is a way to do. May be you have not seen it yet. So open your mind!

My Dream Trip To London

My exact future is unknown but I hope it involves a lot of traveling! I narrowed it down to my top four places I would like to travel. My dream is to go to London, Paris, New York and California.  London is the capital city of England and the United Kingdom. It is the seventh most populous region and urban zone. In my opinion two of the best things about London are Big Ben and the London eye. It’s such an old and beautiful city dating back to long before the 19th century. Another noteworthy thing about London is the food and by food I mean pastries, not escargot. The second place I’m planning to go is Paris, France. Paris is the capital and most popular tourist spot in France. When visiting a must see thing is the Eiffel tower. When I go to both London and Paris in 2015 I am most excited to hear all the accents. The only downside of going so far away is the long plane rides. On my adventure to Europe I am going with my grandmother, my mom and my Aunt Lee and I can’t...

Power Of University of Kelaniya

University of Kelaniya  History The University of Kelaniya has its origin in the historic Vidyalankara Pirivena, founded in 1875 as a centre of learning for Buddhist monks. It was one of the two great national centres of traditional higher learning, heralding the first phase of the national movement and national resurgence. With the establishment of modern Universities in Sri Lanka in the 1940s and 1950s, the Vidyalankara Pirivena became the Vidyalankara University in 1959, later the Vidyalankara Campus of the University of Ceylon in 1972 and, ultimately, the University of Kelaniya in 1978. Today, the University of Kelaniya is one of the major national Universities. It is located just outside the municipal limits of Colombo, in the ancient and historic city of Kelaniya, on the north bank of the Kelani River. It has two major campuses, seven locations, six faculties and four institutions. The University of Kelaniya has pioneered a number of new developments in Higher...

TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITY     Teams must work together to complete a puzzle as quickly as possible. Initially the teams will be divided and given separate bags of puzzle pieces. They will think that they are competing against each other and then come to realise that they have no way of completing the puzzle unless they work with the other sub-teams as they hold the missing pieces of the puzzle . Jigsaw Puzzle Pieces Setup Divide up the puzzle and place an equal amount of pieces into each team bag Split the team into 2 smaller sub-teams (or more depending on the size of your group) and hand each team a bag. Jigsaw Puzzle Pieces Team Activity Instructions Provide each sub-team with a bag of jigsaw puzzle pieces. Instruct them to assemble the puzzle as quickly as possible.
